These plates are slab built using slump molds. They have a nice organic and uneven curve that gets highlighted even more after the firing.
My focus now is on completing orders that have spilled over from last year. All is quiet in the studio and after the rush of the holidays I can catch up on projects. This is a great time to enjoy the work without the stress of show deadlines. So my challenge is to keep the work flowing without the pressure of a deadline to get it done.
